Vegan Korean Fried Chicken

Korean Fried Chicken not that kind - Korean Fried Chicken. So good it'll have you licking the plate clean, who could pass up on this one?


  • 2x Plantry Chicken Style Burgers
  • Sesame seeds, to serve

Korean Sauce

  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp Korean chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • White rice, to serve
  • Spring onion, to garnish


  1. To make the Korean sauce, combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk consistently until the sauce boils, set aside.
  2. Prepare Plantry Chicken Style Burgers as per pack instructions and cut into small bite size pieces.
  3. Toss cooked chicken burger bites in the sauce then serve on a bed of rice topped with sesame seeds and spring onion.
