Vegan Chicken Caesar Salad

Vegan Caesar Salad
Throwing together a Caesar salad is pretty easy, chuck in our Chicken-Style Strips for a bit of protein and you've got yourself a Meat-Free Monday masterpiece.


  • 150g Plantry Chicken Style Strips
  • 1 baby gem cos lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 Gourmet Vegan Bun
  • 2 tbsp vegan parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Tomatoes or vegan bacon bits (optional, to top)

Vegan Caesar Dressing

  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp Praise Vegan Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar


  1. Combine all the Caesar dressing ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth, scrape down sides as needed. Adjust seasoning to your liking. Chill in refrigerator.
  2. Cook Plantry Chicken Style Strips per pack instructions.
  3. Dice the Gourmet Vegan Bun into crouton size pieces. Bake for 10-15 mins or until crisp and golden.
  4. In a bowl, combine the chopped cos lettuce, Caesar dressing and a sprinkle of vegan parmesan cheese. Toss ingredients until lettuce is fully coated.
  5. Top with vegan parmesan cheese, cooked Plantry Chicken Style Strips, optional tomatoes or bacon bits and a sprinkle of salt and cracked pepper.
