Bao Buns

Bao down to the king of lunch! 👑

Our Chicken-Style Strips belong between these buns.


  • 6 pack of large bao buns
  • 1 packet Plantry Original Chicken-Style Strips
  • 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced diagonally
  • Red chilli, cut into slices
  • 4 tbsp vegan sriracha mayonnaise (3 tbsp Praise Vegan Mayo mixed with 1 tbsp sriracha)
  • Coriander, to garnish


  1. Cook Plantry Original Chicken-Style Strips as per pack instructions. Take off heat then stir through hoisin sauce.
  2. Steam bao buns as per pack instructions.
  3. Divide the Chicken-Style Strips between the buns, top with the vegetables.
  4. Drizzle with sriracha mayonnaise then top with coriander.
